St Mary Magdalene Parish Church belongs to the Church of Ireland, subscribes to the holy catholic church and is a member of the world wide Anglican Communion.

It is situated in Donegall Pass, close to the centre of the busy city of Belfast, Northern Ireland and is one of a few city centre churches still managing to flourish in today’s climate where unfortunately, we see many inner city church doors having to close.

Parishioners of this church consist of those who live in the surrounding area, and others who live outside the area but still have strong links with the Parish.

Our mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ crucified, arisen and ascended, and dwelling with us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our church site and if you have any comments, we’d love to hear from you.

Almighty God, whose blessed Son restored Mary Magdalene to health of body and of mind,
and called her to be a witness of his resurrection:
Mercifully grant that by your grace we may be healed from all our infirmities
and know you in the power of his unending life;
who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns,
one God, now and for ever.

Those of us who purchased Jacqueline’s first edition of poems back in 2012, will be delighted to learn that she has now  produced a second volume of her work.    This collection, named ‘Life Lines’  and dedicated to ‘The family that is St Mary Magdalene Parish Church’, reflects mostly on incidents in Jacqueline’s life—some reflective and others hilarious!  As before, the booklet is available at £3.99 a copy and all proceeds are being donated to the church restoration fund.
